Kerri Elizabeth Williams of Ruston and Arlin Timothy “Beaux” Smith of Pineville were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 7 at Christ Fellowship Church in Haughton. The Rev. Uriah Oxford officiated the ceremony.

Kerri is the daughter of Byron and Cheryl Williams of Ruston. She is the granddaughter of Alvin and Emma Sikes of Baskin, Chester and Frances Williams of West Monroe and has a special “Mommie” Sandra Belaire of Ruston.

Beaux is the son of Arlin and Sydney Smith of Princeton. He is the grandson of the late Sue Armes Buxton, the late Albert Sidney Drew and the late Richard and Dovie Smith.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin split-front A-line gown. It was accented with a beaded lace up back, a white sash and chapel train. The fingertip length veil featured a beaded scalloped edge, beaded flowers and sequins.

The bride carried a bouquet of yellow daisies and pink calla lilies tied with fuchsia ribbon, specially arranged by the groom.

The maid of honor was Ashley Rogers of West Monroe. Bridesmaids were Lisa Oxford of Bossier City, Macy Waltz of Ruston and Shannon Few of Memphis, Tenn.

The bridesmaids wore fuchsia chiffon strapless dresses with ruched busts and wide ruched waistbands accented with beading and were cocktail length with flared skirts. They carried bouquets of yellow daisies and pink calla lilies.

The best man was Chris Holden of Shreveport. Groomsmen were Keith Bennett of Bossier City, Darrell Miller of Bossier City and Pat Nelson of Shreveport.

John Paul Christner of Bossier City served as an usher.

The wedding coordinator was Maggie Rabb. Ben Densmore, Angelique Milliken, Natalie Hoffman and Jeremiah Raab provided the music.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Eastwood Baptist Church. Family and friends served at the reception. Emily Janise, aunt of the bride, made the bride and groom’s cakes.
The following parties were held in honor of the couple:
A bridal shower was held on May 13 at Cedar Creek School. Hosts were Cedar Creek Elementary faculty and staff.

A couple’s wedding shower was held June 12 at the home of hostess Dana Mizell of Pineville.

A bridal shower was held on July 19 at the home of Sydney Smith of Princeton. Hostesses were Susan Christner, Emily Janise, Mary Ann Sikes and Sydney Smith.

A bridal shower was held on June 26 at Temple Baptist Church. Hosts were Faith Alexander, Liz F. Hood Connie Bradford, Brenda Brister, Liz V. Hood, Jan Martin, Angel May, Lou McWhorter, Kim Pinton, Edna Smith, Denise Stinson, Karen Taylor, Ginger Walpole, Cindy Wilday and Jessica Williams.

A miscellaneous shower was held on July 26 at the home of Tutti Burnes of Haughton.

Hostesses were the Adult II ladies Sunday school class of Eastwood Baptist Church.

A wedding day breakfast hosted by Donna Earnest was held on Aug. 7 at Christ Fellowship Church of Haughton.

Following a honeymoon to Hot Springs, Ark., the couple resides in Pineville.
