The Lincoln Parish School Board is looking at plans to build a new agriculture building on Ruston High’s campus and renovate the current agriculture building for use by New Tech @ Ruston.
This is in addition to the current construction project underneath the school near the circle driveway at the back of Ruston High, which will add four over-sized classrooms for use by New Tech students.

The project should be completed at the end of this year and students will begin classes there in January.

Currently, the New Tech program is housed on the third floor of Ruston High School along with the freshman academy.

Ruston High officials suspect this will become a problem as the program expands to higher-grade levels requiring more classroom space.
