No. Was I running through my lunch break around Sam Goody and Bath and Body Works holding presents in both arms? Yes.

People plan for Christmas more than any other event of the year, I believe. I go to more parties, eat more food and get more gifts during the month of December than any other time. Now, I thought about this for a long time and wondered: Why?

Christmas has been called “the season of giving.” That’s completely true. The trunk of my car and my spare room is currently filled with Christmas gifts for family and friends. However, are we really the people who need gifts?
