Goubert, Bradford to marry
Debbie and Teddy Joe Sutton, of Monroe, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter Sarah Elizabeth Goubert to Charles Davis Bradford, of Houston.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. John Boilling Jones, III, and the late Omega “Micky” Carter Sutton.
Davis is the son of Connie and Ayres Bradford of Ruston.
He is the grandson of Archer Ayres Bradford Postlethwaite, of Baton Rouge, the late H. F. Bradford, the late Alex Postlethwaite, Amelia Lindsey Elkins, of Rayville, and the late Charles Elkins.
Sarah is an alumna of Neville High School, Louisiana Tech University and the University of Southern Mississippi where she received her Master of Arts and expects to complete her PhD in 2012 in counseling psychology. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity and the American Psychological Association. Sarah is employed as a child and family mental health therapist.
Davis is an alumnus of Cedar Creek School, Louisiana Tech University and the University of Texas School of Law. He is a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity and the Texas Bar Association. He is an attorney focusing on commercial litigation with Dobrowski, LLP of Houston, Texas.
The couple will marry on Feb. 5 at Roseland Plantation, the groom-elect’s family’s farm in Natchez, Miss. They will make their home in Houston.
