Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a Writ of Seizure and Sale issued out of the Honorable Third Judicial District Court in the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed, I have seized and taken into my possession and will offer for sale at public auction, at the principal front door of the Court House in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, LA, between the hours governing judicial sales on WEDNESDAY, January 26, 2011, beginning at 10:00 A.M., the following described property situated in Lincoln Parish, LA, to wit:
A certain tract of land containing 1.250 acres, more or less, and being situated in Section 21, Township 19 North, Range 4 West, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, said tract being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at a 1 inch iron rod marking the Northwest corner of said Section 21, and proceed East for a distance of 2504.24 feet; thence proceed South for a distance of 1913.55 feet, and more particularly to a railroad spike in Liberty Hill Road; thence proceed South 70 degrees 09 minutes 02 seconds East along said road for a distance of 67.33 feet to a PK nail; thence proceed South 65 degrees 38 minutes 56 seconds East along said road for a distance of 95.70 feet to a railroad spike; thence proceed South 61 degrees 43 minutes 24 seconds East along said road for a distance of 160.47 feet to a railroad spike and the point of beginning of the tract herein described; thence, leaving said road, proceed North 29 degrees 55 minutes 15 seconds East for a distance of 262.29 feet to a 5/8 inch rebar; thence proceed South 61 degrees 31 minutes 03 seconds East for a distance of 211.32 feet to a 5/8 inch rebar; thence proceed South 31 degrees 29 minutes 11 seconds West for a distance of 262.56 feet to a railroad spike in Liberty Hill Road; thence proceed North 61 degrees 31 minutes 11 seconds west along said road for a distance of 204.15 feet to the point of beginning, said tract being subject to any servitude’s and rights-of-way thereon and/or of record, all as per plat of survey by L. Gary Rainey, Professional Land Surveyor, dated January 26, 1999.
Seized as the property of defendants George Standifer, Jr. and Shelvia Faye Standifer and will be sold to satisfy said writ and all cost. Terms of sale cash without benefit of appraisement. This 17th day of December, 2010.
