Employees of the Lincoln Parish School Board may see some changes to their health insurance beginning in January.
On the agenda for the regularly scheduled board meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, board members are expected to discuss a proposal suggesting that the school system switch to Blue Cross and Blue Shield for administrative and network services. Currently Covenant Insurance provides those services.
Two people received minor injuries in a fire on Arthur Drive at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday night.
Eric Brazzel, public education officer for the Ruston Fire Department, said firefighters responded to find the home fully involved in flames. Firefighters reportedly attacked the fire for approximately an hour before bringing it under control.
