With the days becoming longer and warmer, pools and beaches across America will soon be filled with children, teens and adults soaking up some sunny rays.
However, while enjoying the great outdoors, for whatever reasons, there is a major reason to be concerned about unprotected skin — cancer. In fact, according to the American Cancer Society, skin cancer is the most common of all cancers.

Organizers said the annual Toys for Tots campaign, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps for the first time this year, received an amazing response. The Junior Auxiliary’s annual Christmas Clearinghouse campaign is in full swing, helping to provide much needed items for local children.
Area motorcyclists joined together to rev their engines last week to help raise toys and food items for children in need this Christmas.
