Sealed bids will be received by the Lincoln Parish School Board, Ruston, Louisiana at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31, 2011in the Board Meeting Room of the Lincoln Parish School Board Office, 410 South Farmerville Street, Ruston, Louisiana for the following project:
NEW FIELD HOUSE FOR RUSTON HIGH SCHOOL
Complete Bidding Documents for this project are available in electronic form. They may be obtained without charge and without deposit from www.aeplans.com. Printed copies are not available from the Architect but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for all costs associated with obtaining and reproducing the bidding documents. General questions about this procedure shall be directed to the office of the Architect: Michael L. Walpole, Architect, L.L.C., 330 West Mississippi Avenue, Ruston, LA 71270, (318) 251-2151 – voice (318)251-2171 – fax.
A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD AT: 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in the  Board Meeting Room, 410 South Farmerville Street, Ruston, Louisiana. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for just cause. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and labor and material payment bond by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids. Funds for this project will paid by the Lincoln Parish School Board via sale of Qualified School Construction Bonds (QSCB). Federal regulations, including Davis-Bacon wage rates will be enforced.
