Traffic along a stretch of Celebrity Drive between Eagle Drive and Commerce Street in north Ruston is flowing again now that a $750,000 road revamp project is done. City officials, along with business representatives, cut a ribbon officially re-opened the roadway Wednesday. They say the upgrades will not only enhance safety but also improve transportation. “It’s taking one of the main economic thoroughfares and putting it in good shape,” Ruston Mayor Ronny Walker said about the project.
