Willie Larkin, Grambling State University president, resigned Thursday at the University of Louisiana Board of Supervisors meeting at Louisiana Tech University. Larkin’s letter of resignation was accepted by the board said Dan Reneau, interim ULS president. Larkin’s resignation is effective June 30 after only serving as president for one year. “I am not a quitter,” said Larkin, who was appointed as GSU president in July 2015. “I committed to serving Grambling State University for seven years, or as long as I was allowed to do so.
