Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser pledged Thursday to intentionally expand Louisiana’s tourism marketing plan to include attractions in Lincoln and other North Louisiana parishes. “North Louisiana does matter,” Nungesser said. The lieutenant governor was in Ruston as part of his statewide expedition celebrating National Tourism Week. The trip is designed to promote Louisiana’s tourism industry and its economic impact on the state.
