RPD investigating midnight homicide

The Ruston Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place around midnight Tuesday.
A 16-year-old Black male suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach and was transported to Northern Louisiana Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
The shooting occurred near Wynona Drive and Tennessee Avenue in south Ruston. RPD is asking the public for assistance in locating the suspects. If you have information regarding this homicide, call 318-255-4141, or crimestoppers at 255-1111.
