Louisiana Tech Police now have a suspect in the Dec. 31 vandalism incident at the Integrated Science and Engineering Building on campus, and they’re looking for information from the community to find him.

A Tuesday afternoon press release describes the suspect as a white male, approximately 5’10” to 6’ tall, with slender build and dark hair.

He was last seen driving what is believed to be a blue 2010-12 Hyundai Santa Fe with a luggage rack and sunroof.

Ground-floor windows on the west side of the building facing Homer Street were damaged early in the morning of Dec. 31. Police say the damage was done with a firearm.

Anyone with information relative to this case should contact the Tech Police at 257-4018 or use the SafeDog app to send an anonymous tip. You can also call Crime Stoppers at 255-1111.

The $40 million, three-story, 130,000-square-foot building opened in late 2019.
