Kaelin Alyssa Lee, 13 died April 19, 2017. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 26, at 1:00 pm at King's Funeral Home, Ruston, LA. Services are Thursday, April 27 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Ruston, LA. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Ruston, LA. ANTOINETTE "TONI" LINER COLVIN

Antoinette “Toni” Liner Colvin, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully in her home on April 21, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was 73 years old. Born on January 13, 1944 to Myrtis and Prentiss Liner in Ruston, Louisiana. Toni's parents both passed away when she was very young and she was raised by her Aunt Thelma Liner Atkins who she knew as her mother. Toni grew up in Ruston graduating from Ruston High School. Toni loved music, dancing and was an excellent tennis player in her younger days.

Man shot; persons of interest detained

in
Incident occurred at Edgewood Square Apartments

Three persons of interest sought in connection with the shooting at a Ruston apartment complex Tuesday night are being held in the Union Parish Detention Center on unrelated charges.
Chadarius L. Spencer, Labreasher Allen and Charvis Buggs, were jailed on charges stemming from a traffic stop in Bernice. Ruston police are interested in the men for any role they may have had in the shooting of another man at Edgewood Square Apartments on McDonald Avenue, Deputy Police Chief Clint Williams said this morning.
