City wins award for the Outdoor Warning Sirens system

Next time residents hear the sirens that alert them about bad weather, they can rest assured that they are listening to an award-winning system.
The Louisiana Municipal Association recently awarded the City of Ruston a Community Achievement Award in the category of Basic Services for the Outdoor Warning Sirens project, which was fully implemented in December.
