Adams, Colvin to wed

Travis and Ginger Adams, of Jonesboro, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter Tashanda Adams to Tad Colvin, of Choudrant.

Tashanda is the granddaughter of J.B. Harrell, of Jonesboro, and the late Ada Harrell.

She is a 2009 graduate of Weston High School.

Tad is the son of Rusty and Jennifer Colvin, of Chatham, and Mona Poda Williams, of Choudrant. He is the grandson of Virginia Colvin, of Choudrant, and the late Herman Colvin, Margaret Poda, of Ruston, and the late James Poda.

Wicker, McDonald to marry June 13

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Wayne Wicker, of Shreveport, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching wedding of their daughter Catherine Claire Wicker to Addison Kade McDonald, of Ruston.

Claire is a 2007 graduate of Captain Shreve High School and a 2011 graduate of Louisiana State University.

While she attended LSU she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority.

Claire is currently employed as an elementary teacher at Eden Gardens Magnet School.
Kade is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Kyle McDonald, of Ruston.

WHEREAS, the contract for said solid waste services will prematurely terminate effective May 3, 2015;
WHEREAS, the Lincoln Parish Police Jury must secure the necessary personnel and equipment to effectively continue to provide said solid waste services beginning May 3, 2015;
