Arrest made in Sims case
Wayne Joseph Guidry Jr., 26, of Luling in St. Charles Parish was arrested Thursday in New Orleans on a warrant accusing him of second-degree murder Jackson Parish Chief Deputy Andy Brown said.
“There has been an arrest,” Brown said. “Officers now have Guidry in custody for the second degree murder of Stephanie Pepper Sims. He was arrested without a struggle at approximately 7 p.m. by the New Orleans Police and is being held without bond at the Orleans Parish Jail.”
