Students jump at college opportunities
“We are very excited about this opportunity for our students,” High School Supervisor Ricky Edmiston said. “This gives them a chance to accumulate college credit while still in high school.”
The numbers of students signed up for dual enrollment classes are as follows: Algebra III — 45; English IV — 60; American History — 70; World History — 25; Biology II — 10; and Chemistry — 20.
Each class is worth a minimum of three college credit hours.
Edmiston said the high school schedules are aligned so that a student might enroll in as many of these classes as he desires.
