George Mack remembered

The voice of Lincoln Parish School Board member George Mack Sr. will be missed by those he served in district 10, as well as all who knew him.
Mack died on Feb. 22 after a lengthy illness. Visitation is set for 5-8 p.m. today at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church. Services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday also at the church.
Mack had been on the school board since Jan. 1, 1973, and was the first African-American to serve on the board.
