I'm very sorry for your floss
Don’t tell anybody — but I don’t floss regularly. I also don’t even floss every day.
I do however make it a habit of flossing right before each dental appointment. My thinking is that if you brush a couple of layers of enamel away and floss your gums until they bleed your dental technician won’t be able to tell that you haven’t been a compliant dental patient.
That plan hasn’t always worked. Back when I lived in Plano, Texas, my dentist, Doc Vee, would get so mad he’d stop the exam and throw his probe down in the tray. Then rip off his mask and yell to his dental tech: “Get in here and get this man cleaned up!”
