Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a Writ of Seizure and Sale issued out of the Honorable Third Judicial District Court in the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed, I have seized and taken into my possession and will offer for sale at public auction, at the principal front door of the Court House in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, LA, between the hours governing judicial sales on WEDNESDAY, May 30, 2012 beginning at 10:00 A.M., the following described property situated in Lincoln Parish, LA, to wit:
Township 18 North, Range 2 West, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. Section 31: Commencing at a cotton picker spindle in the centerline of Louisiana 3061 at the Southeast corner of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 31, as per survey by Jimmy C. Williamson, P.L.S., dated June 7, 1973, and run thence North 89 degrees, 57 minutes, 36 seconds West for a distance of 300.00 feet to a cotton picker spindle and to the starting point. From said starting point, run thence North 89 degrees 57 minutes 36 seconds West along the centerline of said road for a distance of 300.00 feet and to a cotton picker spindle; thence run North 00 degrees 39 minutes 57 seconds West for a distance of 605.70 feet to a 1/2 inch rebar; thence run West for a distance of 720.02 feet to a 1/2 rebar set on the West line of said Section 31; thence run North 00 degrees, 13 minutes, 26 seconds West along said section line for a distance of 359.75 feet to a 1/2 inch rebar; thence run East for distance of 391.39 feet to a 1/2 inch rebar; thence run South 60 degrees 16 minutes 25 seconds East for a distance of 725.50 feet to a 1/2 rebar; thence run South 00 degrees 39 minutes 57 seconds East for a distance of 605.91 feet and back to the point of beginning, containing 10 acres, more or less, together with all improvements thereon and appurtenances thereunto belonging.
Seized as the property of defendants Melvina Cooper Fields and Derrick Stevens Fields and will be sold to satisfy writ and all cost. Terms of sale cash with benefit of appraisement. This 20th day of April, 2012.
