SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Louisiana Tech will put its season-high three-game winning streak on the line at 7 p.m. today as the Lady Techsters travel to the Convocation Center to face the University of Texas-San Antonio.
Tech (9-8, 4-2 Conference USA) swept a three-game homestand, recording wins of FIU, Florida Atlantic and Southern Mississippi and with a win over UTSA (6-11, 2-5 C-USA) Thursday could record its first four-game conference winning streak since the 2010-11 season.
Lady Techsters head coach Tyler Summitt knows that win No. 4 won’t be easy.
Louisiana Tech forward Kathryn Sloan was named to the 2015 Academic All-District XI First Team, announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The academic all-district teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada and recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.
Sloan carries a perfect 4.0 cumulative grade point average while majoring in Communication Arts and Design and has twice earned the C-USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal.
