Sunny spring weather, decorative baskets, dyed and plastic eggs that crack open to reveal candy and other treats — all the perfect ingredients for an Easter egg hunt.
The Village of Choudrant is gearing up for their annual Easter event in Choudrant Park that will include an Easter egg hunt among other activities for children and families in the area.
“It is great seeing the community come together for an event like this,” said Beth Zachary, who is chairing the Easter egg hunt this year. “The kids really enjoy it, and their parents enjoy watching them hunt for the eggs.”
Local bird enthusiast, Jerry Click, top photo center, teaches residents about birds indigenous to north Louisiana at the “Birds and Ruston” event at the Lincoln Parish Library on Tuesday.
