Price was devoted to community
Bobby Price loved to dance. He did it the same way he did everything: with grace, conviction and pride.
Price recently died after a courageous battle with cancer. If anybody was determined to beat the demonic disease, he was. But sometimes cancer has other plans.
Price came to Ruston to teach civil engineering at Louisiana Tech University. For 32 years he taught young men and women about water resources and how to build hydraulic systems. His lifelong commitment to engineering and his demonstration of excellence in the practice and teaching of civil engineering earned him national recognition, and boosted him to leadership roles in key engineering organizations.
