Once a T.L. James Contractor
Note: I thought the golf outing and reunion for Ruston American Legion baseball players went well. As Ms. Ruth Delony used to say in her Dubach Doings column: “A good time was had by all.”
My father and I wanted to have a son for the same reason — so we could teach him how to play baseball. Teach him how to break in a glove, how to stand at the plate, how to hold the bat, how to throw a curve ball. Baseball is a natural bridge between fathers and sons, between the young and old.
