Crew from Ruston heads to Ala. for hurricane relief

By the time Hurricane Ivan slammed into the southern Alabama coast and moved inland, more than 1 million homes were without power and losses to property came to an estimated $2 billion to $10 billion and nearly 50 people lost their lives.
The Ruston crew was sent to the gulf coast town of Fairhope, Ala., which is located right on Mobile Bay, ready to help restore power to the community's 6,500 customers.
