Working together to move forward
It’s all over. Even the shouting has calmed down a little bit. This is the afternoon of the morning after what seemed like one of the longest presidential campaigns in the nation’s 326-year history.
Just a few more weeks of analysis, and red states and blue states will fade away, at least for a while. As the campaign began to wind down last week, both candidates tried to balance their stump speeches with criticism of the other while offering what each believed were positive messages aimed at wooing undecided or fence-straddling voters.
