Progress at Choudrant High
The recent release of 2011-12 School Performance Scores brought mixed emotions for many public educators, and Choudrant High School was one of those schools experiencing both excitement and concern. The school, with grades 7-12, grew 19 points to reach a growth score of 134, which resulted in moving CHS from a “B” to an “A” school. This top gains status resulted in helping to move the Lincoln Parish District from a letter grade of “C” to “B.” Excitement is certainly evident as the school’s success also includes the renovation of the existing school, along with the new additions to the school. We are grateful to Mr. Danny Hancock, school board member, along with the other Lincoln Parish School Board members for their commitment to our students during this renovation time. Aggie pride is abundant in our community!
