LINCOLN PARISH Waterworks District # 3
LINCOLN PARISH Waterworks District # 3 of Ruston, Louisiana met in a regular meeting on this date. The commissioner's present was, Mr. Jack Allen president, Mr. Randy Snow, Mr. Ralph McVay, Mr. G.W. Kimble and Mr. Willard Anderson. Also present was Mr. Chris Harris, manager. Mr. McVay opened the meeting with prayer. Mr. Allen presented the agenda for adoption. There were no changes to be made to the agenda. Mr. Snow made a motion to adopt the agenda as printed, Mr. Kimble seconded the motion and the motion carried. The next item on the agenda was to approve the minutes from the last meeting. There were no changes to be made to the minutes. Mr. McVay made a motion to approve the minutes, Mr. Kimble seconded the motion and it was carried. Mr. Harris gave the managers' report. He reported that everything is going good on the system. The storage building has been ordered and should be delivered soon. Our tank on Water Tank road has been painted and looks great. Mrs. Gibson gave the office report. We received a letter from the District Attorneys Office that we will now have to publish our meeting minutes in a paper of our choice. Mr. Snow made a motion to publish them in the Ruston Daily Leader. Mr. Kimble seconded the motion and it was carried. We also have some CD's that are up for maturity date and need to be moved to a different bank for a better interest rate. Mr. Snow made a motion to give Mrs. Gibson authority to move these CD's. Mr. Kimble seconded the motion and it was carried. Mr. Snow made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Kimble seconded the motion and it was carried.
