Bulldogs push record to 11-3
He may be only a freshman, but he came through like a polished veteran on Saturday night.
Alex Hamilton burned the nets for a career-best 20 points to help lead Louisiana Tech University to an 81-72 victory over New Mexico State on New Year’s Eve night at the Thomas Assembly Center.
With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 11-3 overall and 2-0 in the Western Athletic Conference while dropping the preseason title favorite Aggies to 6-8 and 0-2, respectively.
Despite Tech being out for the holidays, a good crowd turned out for the second straight game on the Karl Malone Court.
