OXFORD, Miss. — Louisiana Tech won its last two games against the SEC, but the Bulldogs could not make it three in a row as they fell to a hot-shooting Ole Miss, 99-80, on Tuesday night in the C.M. Tad Smith Coliseum.
Early on it was back and forth between the two playmakers Alex Hamilton and Stefan Moody. Through the first nine minutes, the Bulldog had 12 points and the Rebel had 11.
The offense carried over to the other players for both teams throughout the first 20 minutes of action.
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Louisiana Tech University’s track and field program has netted a total of 16 qualifying entries for the 2013 NCAA East preliminary championships, including three relays.
The top 48 individual marks and top 24 relay times qualify for the NCAA East Prelims, which will be hosted by North Carolina A&T and take place on Thursday through Saturday at Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, N.C.
