The Pierian Club
Mardi Gras was the theme of decor and program at the Feb. 12 meeting of The Pierian Club. Hostess Carol Young’s home presented a Mardi Gras tree and colorful, intricate table centerpieces with beads and masks. All was enjoyed by twenty attending members.
Co-hostesses included Beverly Sherman, Gaye Ross and Virginia Cook. After members were greeted and offered multiple bead necklaces at the door, they were seated in order to enjoy Mardi Gras goodies such as king cake, pralines, beignets and chocolate dipped strawberries.
