McIntosh, Prouet to unite in matrimony
Mr. and Mrs. Mazion Pepper, of Farmerville, and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff McIntosh, of Ruston, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Emily Ann McIntosh, to Philippe Edouard Prouet II, son of Mr. And Mrs. Philippe E. Prouet, of Lafayette,and the late Kathleen Authement Prouet. The couple will be united in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on May 4 at the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans in Shreveport.
Emily is the granddaughter of Ms. Janet Graham and Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Graham, of Farmerville, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Collinsworth and the late Louis McIntosh, all of Ruston. She is a 2005 graduate of Cedar Creek High School and a 2009 graduate of Tulane University with a Bachelors of Science in neuroscience. She is currently pursuing her M.D. at LSUHSC-Shreveport and will graduate in May 2013. Emily plans to pursue a career in Ophthalmology.
Philip is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Ray Authement, of Lafayette, and the late Dr. Paul Prouet and Mrs. Jennie Thorn, both of New Orleans. He is a 2004 graduate of St. Thomas More Catholic High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelors of Science in biology. He is currently pursuing his M.D. at LSUHSC-Shreveport and will graduate in May 2013. Philip plans to pursue a residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.
After the wedding, the couple plans to reside in Memphis, Tenn.
