Sunday school disputes, catching up with friends
We have all heard the old saying, "another day, another dollar." Well, my dollar and I had an exciting time at Sunday School.
My 100-year-old friend, Velda, passed the basket to collect our benevolent fund dollars. I had no folding money, so wrote a check for a little extra. Velda announced she did not take checks, so I tore mine up. Remember, I told you, she won't accept loose change either.
She handed me a $10 bill and said, "Put this in. Now, you owe me."
