Investigation leads to cocaine
A Ruston man was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly distributing cocaine within the parish.
According to the arrest affidavit, at approximately 3:45 p.m. Tuesday LPNET agents executed a search warrant to James Lamar Jackson, 44, of 509 E. Line Ave., at his home. LPNET reportedly held eight active warrants for Jackson’s arrest in connection to the distribution of cocaine.
Jackson was reportedly sitting outside of the East Line residence. He was reportedly handcuffed and advised of his Miranda rights before his home was searched.
