A second defendant pleads guilty in Ruston Ford fraud trial

Gordon G. “G.G.” Grant III pleaded guilty to one count of misprision of a felony. Misprision of a felony means Grant had knowledge that bank fraud was being committed, but didn’t report the crime. Grant agreed to testify against the remaining three defendants in exchange for the lesser charge which reduced a possible 30-year prison sentence and a $1 million fine to a possible 3-year sentence with a $250,000 fine.
