G-Men rated high in national poll

The G-Men are one of two representatives from the Southwestern Athletic Conference in the poll, the other being defending Eastern Division title winner Jackson State in the No. 23 slot.

Heading the list of top ranked FCS programs are 2007 national champion Appalachian State and followed by Northern Iowa. Richmond, Southern Illinois, Delaware, Massachusetts, Richmond, Southern Illinois and McNeese State are in the top 10.

After posting an 8-4 record overall and going 8-1 against conference opponents in 2007, Grambling closed out as one of the top 25 ranked clubs in several FCS polls.
