City seeks public input on proposed zoning changes

The Ruston Planning and Zoning Commission and the representatives of the Ruston Department of Public Works will be available to explain the changes and answer questions, Lewis Love, the director of that department, said. The proposal is expected to be introduced to the Ruston City Council in May.
“Basically, (the commission) is adding new categories to the current zoning ordinances and changing categories,” Love said. “People need to be aware of this because their zone is going to be affected.”
