New firefighting tool coming to Ruston

The product, called Fire Blockade, was invented in El Dorado, Ark., by Working Chemical Solutions, an Associated Press report said.
Fire Blockade is a water-based fire extinguishing agent, that can be used in almost all firefighting scenarios, Lewis said.
"This stuff appears to be remarkable," Lewis said. "Five gallons of Blockade will treat 750 gallons of water, the contents of an entire pumper truck, and instantly cools flames and knocks down smoke. And after extinguishing a fire, the surface can be touched immediately."
