Parish schools excel, state releases report card

Four of the district’s 12 schools had a School Performance Score (SPS) high enough to earn a three star rating. Those schools were Choudrant Elementary, Hillcrest Elementary, Choudrant High School and Ruston High School.
Lincoln Parish School District Supervisor of Testing, Evaluation and Curriculum Eric Carter is pleased with the report card.
"We thought we did pretty well,” Carter said. “Our highlight is that all four of our high schools rose dramatically.”
