Coach Brad Laird and the Ruston High Bearcats (top photo) and Tanner Disotell and the Cedar Creek Cougars (bottom photo) will play scrimmages tonight as preseason football workouts continue. The Bearcats will scrimmage with Byrd at 6 p.m. at L.J. “Hoss” Garrett Stadium tonnight while the Cougars will scrimmage at Sterlington at 6 p.m.
The Louisiana Tech Lady University Techster volleyball team wrapped up its 2012 campaign, as the team fell in straight sets to the University of Texas-Arlington 25-15, 25-14, 25-21 earlier this week in College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.
This time of year people expect to see falling leaves and turkeys being prepared for a Thanksgiving feast.
They also expect to see banged up football teams at this point of the season.
That’s why the Louisiana Tech football is thankful for an early holiday it’s coming off of in the form of last weekend’s bye date for the Bulldogs (7-3, 5-1) as they prepare for their final two regular season games of the 2015 campaign.
The Bulldogs play at UTEP at 2:30 p.m. Saturday before playing host to Southern Miss at 11 a.m. Nov. 28 to close out regular-season play.
