“Journalism and Politics in the Pelican State” will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Wyly Auditorium on the Louisiana Tech University campus. The event is free and open to the public, and questions from the audience are both welcomed and encouraged. Featuring five of the state’s leading political journalists, the event is produced by The Waggonner Center for Civic Engagement and Public Policy at Louisiana Tech, whose principal focus is to educate, inform, and inspire students to become more engaged in our democracy.
