A group of approximately 25 Vietnam War re-enactors will be at the North Louisiana Military Museum on Aug. 5 to show residents some of the implements of war and talk about the conflict. The come-and-go event is free of charge. The display will be set up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on and around the museum grounds, located at 201 Memorial Drive. A weapons demonstration will be held at noon and 3 p.m., museum Director Ernie Stevens said. The re-enactors will be dressed in period uniforms and carrying authentic gear, Stevens said.
