Nine months ago, when the Rev. Ryan Ford was named director of the United Methodist Wesley Foundation campus ministry at Louisiana Tech University, he brought with him the hope that someday the ministry could make small-scale and sustainable farming part of its discipleship. Ford never imagined it would happen so soon.
