Ruston will soon be covered in color as residents do their part to help bring an end to breast cancer during the Fourth Annual Susan G. Komen North Louisiana Color Me for a Cure 5k walk/run. The event begins at 9 a.m. Saturday at Ruston High School. “Our organization as a whole covers 22 parishes (in North Louisiana) and Lincoln Parish is going to be our priority for the next three years because of those parishes, Lincoln has the highest breast cancer mortality rate,” Lindsay Dean, executive director for Susan G.
