FARMERVILLE — A Monroe man was killed Sunday when the single-engine aircraft he was piloting crashed into Lake D’Arbonne. Union Parish Sheriff Dusty Gates said the Federal Aviation Administration will likely order an autopsy to determine how 71-year-old David Lockard died. Lockard’s Facebook profile states he was employed by Ruston Aviation.
