FARMERVILLE — A spokesman with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has confirmed the agency will soon begin talks with the Union Parish Police Jury about removing trash dumpsters located along state-maintained highways. Information obtained through a public records request filed by The Gazette shows the Police Jury has 76 dumpsters at 27 locations which are on state highways.
