A lack of attendance caused by Tropical Depression Cindy and a last-minute decision to reduce admission prices are the reasons the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce losing money on the 2017 Louisiana Peach Festival, Chamber President Judy Copeland said Friday. This year’s festival had a $1.29 million local economic impact, according to figures released by the Chamber, the group that produces the annual summer celebration.
