The newly formed Artisan Strings and Winds chamber ensemble will play its premier concert Dec. 13 at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center. The program, titled “Classic Holiday Chamber,” begins at 6 p.m. and is open to the public free of charge. The program includes a variety of Christmas pieces. “We wanted some classical — English and French carols — and then some popular selections,” Frances Grafton, of Ruston, the group’s founder, said.
