Ed and Elsie Spiller, of Ruston, recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by the couple’s family on July 7 at the Ruston Civic Center Peach Suite. Ed and Elsie have resided in Ruston since 1980 and are members of Temple Baptist Church. They were wed July 3, 1948.
Melvin and Wilnora Harris celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on July 13. They have four children, Sharyon Mayfield, Tyrone Harris, Mrajorie Bell and Donna Joe; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
